英國港僑協會將與 Re-Water CIC 在約克郡舉辦農曆新年活動龍年大派對。活動得到 Sheffield Museum 的支持，除了在英港人樂隊，我們更邀請到兩位不同年代的粵曲表演者，及資深旗袍師傅分享旗袍工藝因香港得以保留下來的故事，讓大家了解香港人如何為有價值的傳統文化而努力。屆時亦有香港小食、手作、農曆年版畫，以及各種以香港文化為主題的產品供大家選購。誠邀大家帶同親友鄰居一起慶祝香港文化，感受家鄉的味道和溫暖，一同慶祝農曆新年，到時見！

Hongkongers in Britain and Re-Water CIC will co-organise Year of the Dragon Party in Yorkshire. Supported by Sheffield Museum, we will have a Hongkongers’ band, two Cantonese opera performers from different generations, and a senior cheongsam master to share the story of how Hong Kong played a crucial role in preserving the cheongsam, showcasing how Hongkongers endeavour to preserve valuable traditional culture. Moreover, we will also have Hong Kong style snacks, craft works, booth games, and a variety of products promoting Hong Kong culture. Be sure to bring your friends and neighbours along, celebrate Hong Kong culture and experience the jubilant atmosphere of Lunar New Year together!

同性平權運動早在 70 年代展開，直到 2000 年不同歐洲國家開始承認同性結合。在香港，同性權益在司法界的角力早在 2000 年開始。直至今年，岑子杰案定出兩年內建立法律認可同性關係的替代框架，令同性權益在香港有突破性的進展。

我們有幸邀請到香港大學法律學院客席教授和前公法講座教授陳文敏，以及曾在 2004 年首位以司法覆核方式爭取LGBTQ+平權的 Billy。他們會就同志權益的憲法保護及社會保障、兩年框架的發展方向和司法覆核者的心路歷程分享。我們亦會透過網上平台讓未能現場出席的觀眾網上登記並觀看整個對談。

The LGBTQ+ rights movement began as early as in the 1970s, and it wasn’t until the 2000s that various European countries started recognising same-sex unions. In Hong Kong, the campaign for legal recognition of LGBTQ+ rights began in the 2000s, culminating in the recent landmark case of Jimmy Sham, which required the introduction of an alternative framework for legal recognition of same-sex relationships within two years. This marked a significant breakthrough for LGBTQ+ rights in Hong Kong.

We are honoured to have invited Prof. Johannes Chan Man-mun, an Adjunct Professor, former Chair Professor of Public Law and former Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Hong Kong, and Billy, who brought the first legal challenge on the grounds of LGBTQ+ equality in 2004 in Hong Kong to join us in this seminar. They will explore the constitutional protection and the possible development of the suggested alternative framework, and reflect on the personal journey of those involved in the judicial review. We will also livestream the session so friends who cannot attend in person can tune in to the session after registering.

The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival, is a traditional holiday celebrated in various East Asian countries on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month. The festival is steeped in cultural significance and is often associated with family reunions, moon worship, and the enjoyment of mooncakes.

At its heart, the Mid-Autumn Festival is a time for expressing gratitude for the harvest and for the unity of family and friends. The round shape of mooncakes symbolizes completeness and togetherness, while the full moon represents prosperity and harmony.

It aims at helping Hong Kong students and their parents to seamlessly transition into local college life, as well as to build a support network. 如果大家想小朋友入讀 Grammar School 或者私立中學嘅話，就必須要通過 11+ 考試，但係大家又知唔知 11+ 係咩？要點樣報名同埋考啲乜嘢？我哋今次聯同 Citizens Advice North and West Kent 合作舉辦網上講座，並且邀請咗肯特郡政府嘅 11+ 入學官員，向大家講解呢方面嘅資訊，例如考試嘅內容、報名過程同考試當日嘅流程。唔好錯過喇！

Are you interested in sending your child to a Grammar School or a private school? If so, they will need to pass the 11+ exam. But do you know what the 11+ is all about and how to register and prepare for it? In this event, we have teamed up with Citizens Advice North and West Kent to host an online seminar. It is our pleasure to have an 11+ Admission Officer from the Kent County Council join us to provide parents with essential information about the 11+ Exam. This includes details on what does the exam include, the registration process, and what to expect on the test day. Gender and Identity cultural exchange day - HKSA North West Social Engagement Project

受 North West RSMP資助，我地既社區參與計劃：性別和身份交流日營會喺 7 月 24 日，嚟到 Stretford Public Hall 🏛️舉行。我哋建議大家帶一位非香港人一齊參與呢個活動，分享唔同族裔嘅文化，同其他族群一齊談討性別平等。

活動由上午 11:30 開始，我們會有小組活動拉開帷幕 🎮。之後我哋將聚埋一齊共進午餐🍽️。 享受具香港特色嘅午餐、分享故事、認識新朋友。

下午會就「性別和身份」🗣️🌈進行富有啟發性嘅討論，我地邀請咗 香港中學生性別研究學會 @hkss.gsc 分享香港LGBT學生推動多元性別平等。無論係世界邊個角落，都係一個學習、分享同成長嘅機會。

呢次活動開放給所有15-25歲🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️嘅人士，歡迎邀請一個本地人參與。建立網絡、參與並擴大您喺社會中嘅聲音；令你嘅聲音被聽到、被看到，亦成為改變嘅一部分。

Starting at 11:30 am, we'll kick things off with team-building games 🎮. It's a chance for you to foster camaraderie, show off your competitive spirit, and forge lasting friendships.

As the games wrap up, we'll come together for a communal lunch 🍽️. Savour the opportunity to have a Hong Kong-style lunch together, share stories, and make new friends

The afternoon will bring a thoughtful, enlightening discussion on Gender and Identity 🗣️🌈. We have invited Hong Kong Secondary School gender studies club @hkss.gsc to discuss their stories of campaigning for gender equality. This is a chance to learn, share, and grow, no matter where you are on your journey.

This event is open to all individuals aged 15-25 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️. Network, engage, and amplify your voice in society! You're not just the future. You're the present. Your voice counts. Be heard, be seen, and be part of the change.

Guildford UK Stands with Hong Kong

『721 四週年 - 抵抗滲透』遊行

日期：7月22日

時間：17:00

地點：Guildford Friary Street // TK Maxx 對開圓形小廣場

集會流程：

1. 這次是首次以遊行形式進行，請街坊們務必跟緊隊伍。

2. 17:00 於圓形廣場集合，然後遊行去第一站 M&S 銅像稍作停留，若有本地人主動查詢遊行目的，請街坊們踴躍回答。

3. 第二站於 High Street 鐘樓稍作停留，然後經 North Street 返回圓形廣場。

4. 大會代表發言、港援代表發言、唱國歌，叫口號。

5. 大會提供有關 721 之文宣，請街坊們踴躍一齊向本地人展示文宣，另外亦可自備文宣。

6. 圓形廣場設有8塊大型展板，展示香港歷史及中共滲透之文宣，敬請街坊們準時出席，活動首15分鐘供街坊們觀看展板，15分鐘後正式開始遊行。

備註 :

1. 請各街坊出席集會務必保護自己及小朋友，如在場發現可疑人仕，請立即通知工作人員。

2. 大會預備了有關滲透之單張，請街坊們幫忙派給本地人。

3. 若果街坊們想做寫信師，大會可將信件代為轉寄給牆內手足，請預先把信件預備好，遊行當日交給大會工作人員。
